arc Epidemiology Unit made EULAR Centre of Excellence

February 2007

The arc Epidemiology Unit in the School of Medicine has been made a Centre of Excellence in Rheumatology by the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR).

EULAR represents Europe’s patient, health professional and scientific rheumatology societies, and aims to stimulate, promote and support research, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. The arc Unit is one of only seven to be selected to join its register of top European rheumatology research centres this year, and the designation is valid for five years from June.
