Medical School to host first communication conference

UK Conference: Communication in Undergraduate Medical Education (March 26)
The University of Manchester Medical School Communication team is delighted to announce that it will be hosting the first ever national conference of the UK Council of Communication Teaching in Undergraduate Medical Education.
The day will provide an opportunity for teachers and researchers to discuss and explore a wide range of issues relating to communication in a medical setting
The conference will be held on Thursday, 26 March, in the Education and Research Centre at the University Hospital of South Manchester, Wythenshawe.
The keynote speech will be given by Professor Jozien Bensing from Holland, who is the founding president of the European Association of Communication in Health Care. The day will also include workshops, talks, posters and a panel discussion.
