School of Cancer and Enabling Sciences
The School of Cancer and Enabling Sciences has 70 academic staff devoted to teaching and learning and cutting edge research in biomedicine.
We have state-of-the-art facilities for imaging research, proteomics, genomics and cancer research. These enable us to contribute effectively in a number of fields as evidenced by the Research Assessment Exercise results for Cancer Studies in 2008 where we were placed first in the UK.
The School consists of two research groups in Cancer Studies and Imaging, Genomics and Proteomics, it also manages the Imaging Facilities which provide support for interdisciplinary research activities across the University. For further details, see:
