Manchester Medical School

Manchester Medical School is one of the largest in the country, with over 2100 students studying for an undergraduate degree in medicine. Approximately 8% of all the undergraduates at The University of Manchester are medical students. The University's four teaching hospitals, together with affiliated hospitals and community practices spread across the North West, provide excellent facilities for clinical education. We have a long-standing partnership with St Andrews University.

Undergraduate medicine

The undergraduate programme is internationally recognised for innovation and quality: it was the first medical school in the UK to introduce a problem-based curriculum. The programme offers a huge variety of choice and opportunity that includes:
