Dermatological Sciences Research is a multidisciplinary group with expertise in the study of skin cells and emphasis on translation to the whole human. We have excellent facilities for human research and clinical trials, dedicated skin research laboratories, and access to Life Science laboratories through long-term collaborative research programmes. We have particular focus on the interaction of external stressors and endogenous defences, both in the maintenance of skin cell health, and in the mechanisms and management of skin disorders.
