Biostatistics: Causal Analysis Group

The Causal Analysis Group brings together researchers from within Health Methodology Research, and other related research groups across the University, who are interested in the statistical issues involved in causal analysis. The aim is to provide a forum for people to meet regularly to evaluate recent contributions to the literature, informally present work in progress or discuss any other topical issues people may have discovered. The meetings are informal in nature, and led by one of the group with relevant papers circulated beforehand if appropriate. No previous knowledge of the topic is necessary in order to attend.

Members of the group have developed an extensive programme of research in the area of causal inference. For more information on the Biostatistics group's MRC methodology grants please visit: Biostatistics research projects

The meetings are held at 9.30am on the second Monday of every month in Room G.306a in the Jean McFarlane Building.

Next meeting

The next meeting will be on Monday 11th June 2012, with the topic to be confirmed.
