Our research

The research environment within Imaging Sciences at Manchester provides opportunities for both experienced researchers in its key research areas, and for talented individuals with transferable skills from many numerate disciplines.

Researchers with backgrounds in other fields such as (but not limited to) physics, computer science, engineering, and mathematics have in the past made a significant impact on the research carried out in the group.
