Tackling pregnancy problems in the real world
One of our core areas of interest is the translation of research findings into clinical practice - a 'bench-to-bedside' way of thinking. Our researchers have extended their scientific knowledge and expertise to investigate real life causes of pregnancy problems and study projects on stress during pregnancy, diet and smoking.
Our recent research has discovered that more teenagers who continue to smoke in pregnancy give birth to a low-weight baby (26.9 per cent). Our team is dedicated to conducting research to help find real life solutions to pregnancy problems. If you, or someone you know has a pregnancy-related question, Tommy's runs a pregnancy information enquiry service that you can get in touch with.
