What we do

The Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health engages in research and postgraduate education. It investigates the relationship between the environment and human health with special reference to infectious disease, pollution, occupation and trauma epidemiology. It has a wide-ranging doctoral programme as well as being the foremost academic centre for postgraduate education in occupational medicine and hygiene in the country.

Latest News

The Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health is now accepting applications for the next intake of programmes in Occupational Medicine, commencing 1st April 2012. This includes the CPD Diploma that prepares students for the FOM Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed) and our Advanced Level programmes in Occupational Medicine (MSc/Advanced Diploma/PG Certificate). We advise that applications are made as soon as possible, to ensure entry on the April intake.

Our educational material for the Medicine programmes covers the curricular specifications of the Faculties of Occupational Medicine of London and Ireland, and our courses are compatible with their requirements.
