Entry requirements:

Applicants should normally be a qualified doctor and possess a degree or equivalent qualification in a biological/medical discipline or in a related field of study from a recognised university. They must have a strong interest in medical education and be actively involved in teaching medical students. Specific details about these should be provided in their application letter.

Applicants must select the PGCert, PGDip or MSc when applying. Should students subsequently wish to transfer from PGCert to PGDip or from PGDip to MSc once they have started the course, this can be accommodated subject to satisfactory academic progress.

Course fees: For entry in the academic year beginning September 2012, the tuition fees are as follows:

  • MSc (part-time)
    UK/EU students (per annum): £1,711
    International students (per annum): £1,711
  • PGCert (part-time)
    UK/EU students (per annum): £1,711
    International students (per annum): £1,711
  • PGDip (part-time)
    UK/EU students (per annum): £1,711
    International students (per annum): £1,711

The fees quoted above will be fully inclusive for the course tuition, administration and computational costs during your studies.

All fees for entry will be subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of courses lasting more than a year for UK/EU students (fees are typically fixed for International students, for the course duration at the year of entry).
