Duration: MSc: 3yrs
An honours degree (minimum 2:2) or equivalent from a recognised institution and an approved and relevant professional experience, which the University accepts as qualifying the candidate for entry. In the case of non-UK applicants, an institution that is recognised and approved by the University and the School must award the degree.
Relevant research or professional experience may be acceptable in place of an academic qualification, but enrolment will only be on the Diploma in the first instance.
Course fees: For entry in the academic year beginning September 2012, the tuition fees are as follows:

MSc (part-time)
UK/EU students (per annum): Year 1 £2,900; Year 2 £2,900; Year 3 £725 (Years 2 & 3 subject to inflation)
International students (per annum): £5,133 -
PGDip (part-time)
UK/EU students (per annum): Year 1 £2,900; Year 2 £2,900 (Year 2 subject to inflation)

Students may wish to complete the Masters programme in less than 36 months, however the Year 3 fee will still apply.
The fees quoted above will be fully inclusive for the course tuition, administration and computational costs during your studies.
All fees for entry will be subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of courses lasting more than a year for UK/EU students (fees are typically fixed for International students, for the course duration at the year of entry). Up to 10 fully funded places will be available to North West NHS staff.
In order to be eligible for the NHS North West funded places, applicants will need to:
- Be employed in the NHS in North West Region
- Be registered health/social care professionals
- Hold a 2:2 Hons degree or equivalent (see entry requirements)
- Have managerial support and sign off
The funding will cover full course fees for students to complete the programme up to MSc normally within a maximum period of 3 years from initial registration.
