Entry requirements:

An honours degree (minimum 2:1), or overseas equivalent, is required for direct entry to the programme.

Non-standard applicants for the programme will be considered on an individual basis, but may be required to enrol initially on the Diploma.

The programme is suitable for graduates in:

  • Pharmacy
  • Other biology degrees with an element of microbiology

Course fees: For entry in the academic year beginning September 2012, the tuition fees are as follows:

  • PGDip (full-time)

Medical Virology
This programme forms a close association between the university and NHS/Health Protection Agency virology laboratories. The programme has been designed with input from experienced clinical virologists, who also do a significant amount of the teaching.
