Who should apply for the MRes?
This programme is suitable for people who would like to develop skills for research and leadership in public health and primary care and for those wanting to develop skills for health services research, for example:
- Clinicians wanting to develop research/evidence-based practice/governance skills
- Health workers wishing to pursue an academic career
- Intercalating medical students
- Walport Scholars or others on academic clinical training awards*
* Prospective students should contact the Course Leader to discuss their own specific learning outcomes. In addition, they should also look at the Graduate Training Programme which supplies many additional courses in transferable skills.
