Duration: 24 months part-time (from start of year 2)

Entry requirements:

Applicants must be medically qualified.

Two Satisfactory references (on headed paper) are required,in addition to IELTS (if appropriate) and degree certificates. Applications from students based overseas are not usually considered eligible to apply for this programme.

All applicants will be approved via references and/or interview with the Programme Director.

Course fees: For entry in the academic year beginning September 2011, the tuition fees are as follows:

  • MSc (part-time)
    UK/EU students (per annum): Year 2 £1,280; Year 3 £800
    International students (per annum): Year 2 £1,280; Year 3 £800

All fees for entry will be subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of courses lasting more than a year for UK/EU students (fees are typically fixed for International students, for the course duration at the year of entry). Number of places/applicants:

For 2011 entry there will be no year 1 intake for this course. Year 1 applicants are advised to apply to the Psychiatry (blended learning) MSc . A small number of places will be available in 2011 for people who join in the second year and meet the APL (accreditation for prior learning) requirements.
