Postgraduate

We have an active programme of postgraduate research with over 40 students currently registered. These include both Clinical Fellows and science graduates.

Our postgraduate training is tailored to meet the specific needs of students conducting research in a clinical environment. Our students are able to access all postgraduate education and training in the Stopford Building as well as tailored training within the Respiratory Research Group. This includes a monthly Respiratory Research Forum where the students are expected to present their research.

We also have a twice yearly postgraduate half day providing an opportunity for students to interact with colleagues and share their research experiences and findings.

For students with a clinical background there is a weekly seminar programme as well as opportunities to join in multi-disciplinary meetings such as the weekly radiology meeting.
