Role

I am Co-I on the Centre's Epidemiological Surveillance Project, collaborate with colleagues at the University of Glasgow in ongoing work to estimate the prevalence of Opioid & Crack Cocaine use in England and trends therein, and  lead work to integrate secondary datasets about substance misusers known to the treatment and criminal justice systems. I lead an MRC Addiction Research Cluster with a focus on quantifying addiction harms, see:  http://www.mrc.ac.uk/Ourresearch/ResearchInitiatives/Addictionresearch/DrTimMillar/index.htm

I lead an MRC Addiction Research Cluster, which is addressing key questions about addiction harm, and the impact of specific interventions in moderating harm. Further details can be found at:
