Biography
Al Sa'd has significant experience of conducting collaborative research work, having previously worked upon two successful UK national projects that were funded by the EPSRC and NIHR. He has an extensive background in terms of performing multidisciplinary scientific research, including artificial intelligence and its applications, 3D optical metrology, as well as engineering systems design and development. His earlier work led to a patent being awarded in the area of image compression using neural networks. As a researcher he has an excellent background in computational skills, covering both hardware and software aspects, and has significant expertise in problem analysis and software development techniques.

Ph.D in Medical Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University
M.Sc in Engineering Management for Manufacturing from Coventry University
B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Engineering from Applied Science University – Jordan
