About the sessions
Open days offer prospective students and their parents a chance to learn more about studying medicine at Manchester and the admissions process. Each session includes:
- Introduction and overview – Professor Brian Pollard, Academic Lead for Medicine Admissions
- Entry requirements and the type of applicant the School looks for and why – Mrs Linda Harding, Recruitment and Admissions Manager
- For parents – informal discussion with Professor Brian Pollard, Mrs Linda Harding and medical students
- For applicants – outline of the Manchester Course and discussion with Course Co-ordinator and medical students
